Required academic qualification:  BSc (Hon’s) and MSc (Thesis) in Biostatistics/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Computer Science with special interest in Bioinformatics and Genomics.

Required research experience:  

• Hands-on experience in Biostatistics/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Computer Science
• A good publication record
• Candidates with prior research experience in Genomics and Bioinformatics will be given high priority
• For good candidates the above mentioned requirements can be relaxed.

Salary: As per salary structure of the organization

Key Responsibilities: The fellow will carry out research on infectious diseases including enteric, respiratory and/or mycobacterial diseases, focusing on Genomics and Bioinformatics using Nanopore and Illumina.
