Your profile
- Master’s degree in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Microbiology or related field.
- Research experience in epidemiology will be advantageous
- Programming/scripting skills are a plus
- Good communication skills as well as agile and innovative mindset
- High degree of independence and commitment
- Ability to work in a collaborative research environment including multidisciplinary teams
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Library preparation for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), restriction digestion, ligation, qPCR, gel electrophoresis etc.
- Statistical Analysis of NGS data
- Preparing scientific manuscripts and project reports
- Present scientific outcomes at national and international conferences
- Mentoring undergraduates in research
