Position Overview

The Program Supervisor for the HPV Project/other assigned projects at ideSHi (institute for developing Science and Health initiatives) is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the HPV project. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project staff, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintaining high standards of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  Project Management
  1. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  2. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project objectives are met.
  3. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
 Team Leadership
  1.  Supervise and support project staff, including researchers, field workers, and administrative personnel.
  2. Facilitate regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  3. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
 Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, healthcare providers, and community groups.
  2. Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  3. Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Data Management and Analysis
  1. Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of project data.
  2. Ensure data quality and integrity.
  3. Use data insights to inform project decisions and strategies.
Compliance and Reporting
  1. Ensure project activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  2. Prepare and submit regular project reports to funding bodies and regulatory authorities.
  3. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Budget Management
  1. Develop and manage project budgets.
  2. Monitor expenditures and ensure financial accountability.
  3. Prepare financial reports and forecasts.
Community Outreach and Education
  1. Develop and implement community outreach strategies to increase awareness and uptake of HPV vaccination.
  2. Create educational materials and conduct workshops for target populations.
Educational Requirements

MBBS (Master’s/Other Degree preferred, particularly in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Administration, or a related discipline.)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  1.  Experience with health education and community outreach programs.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis and management.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  7. Familiarity with HPV-related health issues and vaccination programs is an asset.
