For November 2018, ideSHi and Rotary Club Dhaka North collaborated to organize the free Thalassemia carrier screening camp at Jagannath University, Dhaka on November 20, 2018. The camp received overwhelming response from the students and faculties alike in collection of specimen for screening. Over 160 individuals volunteered to get themselves tested for carrier status.

On 11 November 2018 a MOU was signed between ideSHi and RCDN to carry out free Thalassemia screening program for young people of marriageable age. RCDN and ideSHi will work together to regularly run free Thalassemia screening camps with ideSHi providing the necessary technical expertise, qualified personnel and laboratory facilities to conduct the screening.
