Joydip Biswas is an MS thesis student in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Dhaka. He obtained his BS Honors degree from the same department. For his MS thesis he has been working at Institute for developing science and health initiatives (ideSHi). He is working on a project titled “Determination of viral load and genotypes of Hepatitis E virus in hepatitis infected pregnant women of Bangladesh.” His research interest also includes genetic disorders like thalassemia, hypothyroidism etc.
